Maison nationale des patriotes

This maison Mâsse, classified as a historic monument, serves as a museum commemorating the battle of Saint-Denis -sur- Richelieu, of November 23, 1837... during the rebellion of the Patriotes.

It is located at 610 Chemin des patriotes, Saint-Denis-sur Richelieu.

The maison Jean-Baptiste Mâsse as well as the mill are today the property of the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), a Crown corporation reporting to the ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. The Mission of this house is to share knowledge that reflects the importance of the History of the Patriotes and of daily life in Bas-Canada.
