This painting was commissioned to mark the 75th birthday of my former colleague and friend Maître Jacques Sylvestre Sr., who was incidentally celebrating in September 2013 his 50th anniversary as a member of the Richelieu Bar.
It was my pleasure to give him a little wink by adding myself to this painting...!!!

This residence recalls many memories for the Sylvestre and Chartier families, who were at the time both supporters of the Union Nationale led by Maurice Duplessis.
