To raise awareness of the new rose garden being installed this spring 2014 by the Fondation Aline-Letendre at the Hôtel-Dieu de Saint-Hyacinthe, for the use of patients staying there, and particularly for those in palliative care whose rooms we would like to fill with flowers daily during the summer season... I created this painting evoking the rose and butterfly gardens that will be created there.
I learned through facebook in December 2021 that this painting had become the property of a former president of the Fondation Aline-Letendre.
The arbour appearing in this painting was premonitory of the entrance arbour of the rose garden.
