Painting entitled: Juge à la retraite
Painting entitled: Juge à la retraite, given to me by my brother André, the painter Moan, on my retirement as a judge of the Court of Québec, on 12 May 2011... His inspiration came from my careers as Crown prosecutor and as judge — hence the tormented, stormy sky above a restless sea... he set me on a beach in a deckchair reading my newspaper, not forgetting the little bald spot on my head... with my robe laid over a deckchair, the whole bathed in a ray of light, standing for the joys of retirement... What a precious keepsake...!!! Thank you a thousand times, André, my brother, the painter...!!! Below, I pose with my painting 0162... La promenade, rue Girouard, in Saint-Hyacinthe, in the jardin des anciens maires... a painting to be auctioned... on 23 October 2011, at a cultural and charitable event of the collective 12 pinceaux pour une promesse... 2011, which I founded... an auction in aid of the Fondation Aline Letendre of the Hôtel-Dieu de Saint-Hyacinthe, to cover the upkeep of the rose and butterfly gardens created for patients in palliative care at that long-term care hospital.

31 October 2010, the day my painting came down
31 October 2010, the day my painting 0158 came down: Jadis à Wigwomadensis...(Jadis à Mont Saint-Hilaire) at the Salon d’automne exhibition of the Musée des beaux-arts de Mont Saint-Hilaire, where the paintings had been hung edge to edge, as in the group exhibitions held in France in the 18th and 19th centuries... This arrangement of the works in rows, stacked high and pressed against one another, created a striking " tapestry " effect.
